Coming off of the directions unit, it will be interesting to see the difference in approach towards the documentary unit. I like the fact that we're working in groups this time around as opposed to doing individual projects. To me this means a more rounded, thought out and ultimately polished final piece. Documentaries have always appealed to me as an artform as they express the finer details of our very real world/society as a whole. With the explosion of popular video streaming services such as Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, documentaries have not only become much more popular, but also have been given a far wider platform to be shown off on. I look forward to creating something that invokes a response from the audience in one way or another.
