Major Project - Storyboarding The Race Day

Compiling Storyboards for the Race Day Sequence

As part of my responsibilities as D.O.P. (Director of Photography) I am required to produce storyboards for the key sequences within our documentary. This of course includes the race day sequence, one of our most ambitious shoots of the project for obvious reasons. The race day will be similar in coverage to previous track days we've taken part in over the course of this unit, we will have the Sony AX53 as the main camera, the FZ330, Lumix G7 and the Panasonic DVX200 out track-side capturing footage of Alex & Sam racing, as well as the front-facing and rear-facing go-pro's mounted on the inside of the BMW itself. This will ensure we have a wide range of material and perspectives to work with when it comes to editing the sequence, myself being the main person who handles this. You can view the storyboards below:

This was by far the lengthiest set of storyboards I have produced for 'DreamChaser', understandably so given the nature of the shoot, however I've particularly enjoyed getting to flex my creative (albeit clearly flawed) artistic ability through storyboarding in general this entire project.
