Executing The London Plan

This morning me, George and Alex met at Victoria station in order to begin our journey across London. We had planned to visit Battersea Park, Stratford/Olympic Park, East India, Canary Wharf, London City Airport and of course Bank, where The Shard and The Gherkin are situated.

Fortunately for us the tube services were running without fault and we managed to get almost everywhere we wanted to go, with the exception being Canary Wharf as we simply ran out of time and more importantly... light. We opted to not take the Panasonic DVX200 as we felt that not only would it be difficult to carry around with us the entire day, but it could also attract unwanted attention.

The experience itself was worth the effort alone in my opinion, considering how close I actually live to the city, it's rather ironic that I've never actually explored it on foot. Some of the shots we managed to get for our channel teaser and branding b-roll were great and I'm genuinely looking forward to throwing them into Premiere and seeing what we can create.

Overall the day went well! We managed to get more than enough footage for what and where we wanted, while also actually enjoying the day rather than treating it like work.
