Commission Piece - Concluding The Report #3
Bringing Things Together
This morning I was able to put the finishing touches on my report, writing the History/Branding piece of the creative methodology subsection and went on to formulate my conclusion, evaluating what I've learnt throughout this process and how I've been able to adapt and change going forward.
For history and branding I wanted to discuss the importance of the colour 'Red' within Crawley Town F.C's marketing material, everything on their social media pages, kit and merchandise consists of the colour red in some form or another and I felt it important to recognise why that is and what it means to fans. Going deeper into brand loyalty and what the club means to many fans - incorporating that faithfulness to the club into the project has been one of the hardest parts of this process for sure.
As for the conclusion, I wanted to tie together everything I'd learned and demonstrate how my skillset has expanded over the course of this project. I feel like I did this appropriately and am happy with the way I have managed to reference thoroughly throughout. As for my bibliography (pictured below) I was able to utilise the on-board tools Microsoft Word gives you to automatically formulate all the information you've fed it into a bibliography at the end, thus saving a large amount of time and hassle.

Final touches included numbering the images I'd used as 'Figures' and referencing them inside the essay where appropriate, as well as composing a brief illustrations list at the end of the document in order to show the sources of all images used, fortunately this wasn't too much of a hassle as two of the images were taken myself. These practices are important to remember as they are the difference between being considered an academic essay, and being considered trash.
