Today was a productive damn day! Despite changes in plans and an actor dropping out at the last minute, we were able to work with what we had and get the shoot done more or less as planned. The images in this post feature me, Joshua Phillips, Amin Rissaoui and Jack Perry, all of which are friends who came and aided me when I needed it! Josh having already agreed to play the undercover narcotics agent. We were up at the crack of dawn, braving ice cold temperatures in order to get this shot, given the issues I experienced yesterday (See previous blog post), I am amazed we managed to get as much done as we did.
The shots themselves came out looking great, and I'm really happy with how they looked in the preview monitor on the camera. So hopefully the same is reflected when I get to dropping them in premiere pro and really get the editing grind going. I tried to take on board as much as I could from the workshops that we've done with Ferg and Sam Creamer. By doing so I hope I was able to recreate a professional look akin to that of Vince Gilligan and Breaking Bad.
