As Live Production - Pitch Preperation
Rehearsals
Given that our pitch is tomorrow, we felt it important to rehearse our presentation at least somewhat before heading in. Since our presentation has been designed on Google Docs, we are both able to view it and present simultaneously, enabling us to work extremely efficiently. As we're constrained to a 10 minute time limit for the talking aspect of our pitch, we wanted to time our presentation in order to figure out whether we needed to cut anything, or add information where necessary.
Thanks to Nvidia Shadowplay, I was able to record a presentation attempt, one which I have uploaded to YouTube as an unlisted video, and can be viewed here;
This particular attempt came out at approximately 13 minutes and 30 seconds, therefore went over the allotted time, however on subsequent attempts we've managed to reduce it to ~11mins, and plan to make further adjustments over the course of the evening, and tomorrow morning.
I'm eager to hear what the panel has to say regarding our idea, as I feel that we're going into our pitch with a strong representation of what we could accomplish.
