Transition Unit

This unit will help you figure out what it is you want to do within the industry, it is aimed at enabling you to select how you want to spend your 3rd year as a creative. You are NOT choosing a project you will do in the 3rd year, you are choosing your role and type of output. (Be it documentaries, entertainment, drama etc).

The aims of this unit are:

A1: to explore a specific television output from the singular perspective of one creative skillset enabling a more detailed understanding of that skillset and responsibility

A2: to critically engage with professional practice within a specific genre

A3: to apply the technical and creative skills of your chosen medium to a considered output

A4: to promote enhanced project management and independent learning

In terms of critical research, I must demonstrate a critical understanding of my chosen skillset and format. This must be demonstrated through research in my journal, and the key findings presented in my project submission. 

The most appropriate form for the delivery of this project is a dedicated website - using free web-building sites such as weebly or wix.

Deadlines

As of right now, I'm strongly leaning towards doing something with editing, given my interest in post-production in general.
