Story-telling Introduction Brief!

Today we were introduced to our first unit of our TV Production course, this included being given the full written unit brief and going through it as a class to determine what exactly is expected of each of us over the course of the first term at UCA. According to the brief we are expected to spend an estimated 300 hours working on our first unit; this includes multiple (10 page) script redrafts as well as the production of either a 2 minute trailer or opening 2 minutes, adapting the script we write.

To say I wasn't intimidated by the task initially would be an outright lie, however I'm planning to take it head on and do the absolute best I can with the resources available to me... and from what we've been told we'll have the opportunity to receive feedback from genuine scriptwriting professionals!

The free breakfast and witty banter from Simon made it approximately 84% easier to get into.
