First Isolation Filming Session | Maidstone Studios Baseroom

On Wednesday 16th Nov, we got together in the baseroom and shot the first parts of footage in the main area, we staged the area as a coffee shop and Aimee got into position, playing the part of Beth in Isolation.

This wasn't as easy as it sounds, we purchased coffee from the nearby cafeteria and brought it into the shot, placing them around the area in places that made sense. We also had one of our crew members in the kitchen area making diegetic noises in the background in order to provide some context to the shot and ground the 'coffee shop' motif.

I shot the equivalent of about 2 minutes of footage but I'm almost certainly not going to utilise all of that footage within my 2 minute trailer, I did get some awesome shots I thought that I could use although I think I'm going to have to use some stabilisation techniques in post-production within Premiere Pro CC in order to make sure the shots don't look garbage.
