Second Isolation Filming Session | My Backyard

After picking up the camera equipment on Thursday the 17th Nov, I went out the following day filming around my garden, it was 5 degrees celcius and incredibly bitter, creating some interesting, autumn looking scenery. As you can see I have included some screenshots from footage I caught from that particular shoot; I felt that there was some really interesting cinematography just waiting around.

Extreme Close-Up of overgrown weeds from a plant.

Another close-up of a thorny branch hanging off the wall.

Close-up of the lock on a gate, clearly derelict and hasn't been used for years.
Autumn leaves falling on to wet grass.

It was at this point that I had an idea for the theme of my trailer - Something slow and methodical, emphasising the atmosphere of the script, rather than building character development and revealing crucial plot details within the trailer. My vision for the trailer is something unique and ambiguous building to a climactic conclusion that leaves the viewer hanging, wanting to watch the full short.
